I'm definitely a fan of the ATS. I knew I put it in the videos, but didn't' realize how much it popped into the footage randomly til you mentioned it. I usually extend my rappel device (unless its a really sharp drop off), which would explain why it shows up so much on the GoPro. However the device works awesome when rappelling with super thin ropes.
There's a tubular device i want to play with, but can't remember what its called.. friction can be added on the fly. Almost like the hyperhorns. Oh well.

A buddy of mine, let me use his ATS this winter. I find it one of the best devices I've used...
much preferred over a toetam,
But still I think my favorite, go to, is the double eight.
