The way this stock is behaving, here lately is why I buy and sell short term.

What do you guys think about BBBY and AMC? I am up about 50% in BBBY and 100% in AMC. Just trying to decide when to cut and run on them.

What goes up must come down. Personally, I believe $150/share is WAY overvalued for Gamestop. To put that into perspective, compare to other companies that are perennial winners and produce a valuable commodity -- such as Newmont Mining ($61/share), Barrick Mining ($23/share), Exxon ($45/share), and get this --- Apple ($143/share).

When a video game store is valued over Apple, Inc. you know there's something wrong. I think once the speculative blush fades it will come crashing back to earth, and wo unto those who are still holding it. I'm sure the short sellers are licking their chops for the day GME gets that wake up call. I predict it'll be under $100 in less than a month.

If you're up 50% and 100% in anything I'd take profits now and reinvest. But that's just me -- I like to have my money today. Plus you never know when that big market correction is gonna happen -- it could be any day now since the market is getting overvalued.

You know what is fun though? Putting $4k in AMC on Friday at $3.21 and waking up this morning to see it over $15. I think I’m going to sell most of it, but I still wonder if it will continue to blow up.

If you ever wondered if the system was rigged, today answered that question. I think Robinhood just dug their own grave this morning.

I am glad I pulled out of AMC yesterday at $17, but I sure would have jumped back in this morning when it was under $8. Sadly those swine at Robinhood pulled the plug on the good times. I guess it is time for me to move to a big boy brokerage. Who do you guys use?

Oh I've NEVER questioned if the stock market was rigged. It's obvious. One of the traders from WSB was recently quoted as saying that the "stock market is the largest casino in the world." Indeed it is. But...that's the system we live in. That casino is the reason why I'll have a retirement to live on when I get older (hopefully).


I use TD Ameritrade. I believe Oldno7 also uses TD regularly. It's a very good platform -- the instructional tools are great and customer service is also responsive and helpful.

I use Charles Schwab, mostly because I've had an account there for 40 years and I've been grandfathered in on some deals you can't touch these days.

If I was starting over again I'd have to shop around to see who best meets me needs at what cost.
