I was holding out for 10...almost got there. I may just go ahead and cash in. I bought very low in March.

You made a prediction about this stock about a month ago...I didn't "listen", but I did. Been keeping a sharper eye on it...figured it would roll over 10 because I know for a fact that they're selling heavy duty trucks like hotcakes and they've got lots of new models coming out.

You need to weigh your objectives with this or any stock.
Long term it should be good.
As mentioned many times by me, I like to get out in one to two days if possible.
Everyone's needs and style varies.

If F hits 8.70ish, today or tomorrow, I'll sell.

But if I'm trading a strong stock, I always look to buy back in at a lower rate.

If it continues up, I'm happy with what I planned to make.

If it drops as planned, I buy more shares for the same money I exited with.

I had my eye on this all day today and got stopped out twice ~ around 5.20 - 5.25. I would've held it but I noticed on the daily that it's been in decline ever since it peaked on 12/22. I'll reassess tomorrow...

Yeah I caught that as well. Got in at 5.03 and stuck around for the late $0.50 spike upon the close.

I'm typically a real estate guy or a longer term holder, but have been bored and had a little extra cash to play around with, so I've been fooling around a bit on the daily side. No big dollar amounts as I need to learn the game a more first, but I was able to buy HSDT at about $18, sold it all at $30, bought again at $19 and sold it all again at $22. Started at $1,000 and finished at $1,900. Not a bad day considering I was at work. I can see where this would be addicting, especially at real dollar amounts.

You're a cautious guy, and so am I. I started out with just a few thousand bucks at a time about 11 years ago and now it's moved up to tens of thousands at a time. I haven't got the time nor the inclination to do it like Kurt and some of the other boys, so I just buy good stock on the lows, sell it all and take the profit...and the tax hit, in some cases.

I haven't screwed up yet, in fact it seems quite easy. I remember when I was a kid and I first heard "It takes money to make money"...I didn't understand that at all. Now I do. Even if you're working with smaller amounts, if you're confident with the picks it sure is a hell of a lot better than sitting in the bank earning nothing.

Yep you've got it down. I've got multiple longer term accounts that I never touch, but it's pretty fun to have a daily trading account that can generate some quick money for gas and bullets.

Depends. If you're a RobinHood trading millennial then bitcoin for sure.
