I'm taking my two boys (9 and 6) dirt biking.

I'm heading out bright and early tomorrow (Saturday) for Escalante. Meeting some friends for hiking around there for a few days then it's off to the Cedar Mesa area. We may go through Cheesebox and certainly visit some ruins. One of my friends is Steve ***er, who has been a volunteer ranger at Kane Gulch for many years. He knows some "secret" spots...after all that I'll go to Powell for a houseboat trip. Weather is supposed to be awesome for the next 10 days...I'm going to eat this up because when I get back I have tons of jobs waiting for me.

Edit: That's funny, what's wrong with Steve's last name? It's been filtered...? Oh I see, consider the British term for a cigarette. Hey, this site discriminates, man!

Nothing much, poach a canyon in Zion on Saturday then going with friends to sushi and see Avengers again, mow the lawn on Sunday. Might hit a close MTB trail for a couple hours if it's not too hot. *shrug*

But I do get some time off during the week to compensate...and while I'm at "work" I have time to plan what to do during that time!

Saw Avengers last night. AWESOME! You need to stay to the very end of the credits. There is the one teaser video of Thanos halfway through the credits, but the 2nd one at the very end is the one that got the audience laughing & cheering. Of course, 3/4's of the audience had left by this point. STAY!

Well with it bein the Mothers of all weekends we hung close to home. Got some yard work done but thank gawd for a local reprieve. The hound and I escaped for some early mornin/local action. A wee bit on the cool side here in the land of suburbia at 6:30 am but well worth it. Creek hound findin Quail left and right both morns this past weekend. The ole Lady took the kids to the Avengers, I guess I'll wait for the DVD. Somethin about a previous engagement with a cold pack set me back. Heard it was good though
