I had a friend tell me about this site....and I just became a newbe

There seems to be a wide range of activities on this forum and I have spent an hour just surfing…sounds like a fun bunch.
If it is outdoors in the back country I will usually like it. I am not into the extreme activities but I am pretty much a jack of all trades and a master of none.
A little about myself… I have been doing emergency services for 35 years, about 2,500 SAR missions and 3,000 ambulance calls. Rescues give me a chance to escape at a moments notice and apply the training...and if it in the backcountry...so much the better.
Training: EMT-I, SCUBA diver, K-9 handler, Mountain Rescue Certified, man-tracker, ham radio operator, ice-rescue, swift water rescue and I like working as a team member under highly stressed conditions.
If your toys describe who you are then I am in trouble. My wife once got me a t-shirt that said something like, “He who dies with the most Toys Wins!” That be me I am afraid. I am on my third ATV, my second snowmobile, a J-rig raft, a hovercraft, and I am training my 4th SAR trained K-9.
    Good to meet ya’l,

Good to hear from you Bruteforce.

Just finished the video of the Memorial Ride on the Orange Trail. You would have liked that ride. A bunch of us rode the day before and that ride was right up your alley.
