1000 feet of fun? Anyone climb this route?
Anyone been down to the Swell to climb 1000 feet of fun? Looks like a great route.
If you have climbed it...How long did it take you?
I know everyone is different...but just generally speaking...I am trying to cram the climb in between things...Thanks!

Climbed it as a group of 5. We soloed the whole thing except for a pretty exposed, 15 foot section at the top. We're solid climbers but we're not badasses by anyone's definition. You could solo the thing in 25 minutes. Pitching it out would take substantially longer. Gear isn't great and the rock isn't trustworthy so you'd be better off just taking a couple of pieces and simulclimbing\soloing most of it. You do need a rope to rap the route though; it's the fastest way down. Also - leave the climbing shoes in the car and do it in approach shoes. Your feet will thank you.

We have climbed it a couple of times. Like the last post says the gear is slim. Bring tri cams if you have them. It is an easy route but it really is fun like the route name says. You may also want to check out Road to Mecca. It is a great Swell route too.
