And for God's sake, bullshitting never pays off. I figured that out in the 8th grade when I was caught in a big lie and they badgered me for months. This'll straighten your ass out, eh DC?
Hehe naw, I just left him a one sentence update and not much info. Scott linked the thread. I went through the weekend before Easter. But it's Yankee Friggin Doodle, like Carpey says. It has only one rap, couple stems and takes 45 mins. I don't think there is an easier canyon out there.
Your safety is not my responsibility.

Bummer that you had a rough time in there @desotodave Please don't be discouraged from sharing the trip report. It's odd thought that the conditions have changed so much recently.

    Exactly!

DG - Yeah, the pictures are not from the last weekend. But still when we did it, it was dry according to reports just the week before. Some of these little canyons like Red Cave and Yankee - change dramatically fast!

Might be doing the canyon on Sunday. Anyone know how much rain Leeds got from this storm? Tried to find a precip plot for the area with no luck. Wondering if it may have filled again. We will be without wetsuits. It certainly poured up here in salt lake! If we go, I will post current conditions here and on Candition.

Just a quick update...went through today. Water to knee deep (on a 6 footer), although only mandatory wade (walls were 8 feet apart so couldn't stem) was calf deep. I was able to stem over everything else. We were a group of three with one first timer and one second timer. None of us had done the canyon before. All had a blast. Short though. Made it through in just under an hour. Will update candition tomorrow night back in slc from a real computer. Off to the kolob region tomorrow!
