    Zion Narrows closed, April 2012

Looks like the Narrows closed, and will be for awhile.

This will also close all canyons that normally exit out the Narrows, like Imlay, Mystery, Orderville. Enjoy.

Crazy weather this weekend might lead to a week or two of closure - hard to say!

I guess I'm going to lose the canyons group contest (I guessed that it would not be consecutively closed for a week this year).
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

Hopefully this doesn't last long. Planning on doing Mystery on April 30th!

    Back open today.

Big storm this weekend, maybe. Not much snow in the lands above the Narrows. Could well not close for the requisite 7 days.
