Cool, I love storms on the water, especially when I'm not in them, just watching.
Quoting my best friend, Bob McNally, after a bad boating trip: "Nature scares me!"

Awesome pics. Reminiscent of every single Lake Powell or Lake Mead trip I have ever been on....meaning we seem to get at least one good storm. I think I cause them.

Spring winds on the Lake can be intimidating. I was solo in my kayak last year for 10 days. Watched someone capsize their sea kayak during a day with 3-4 waves. Made me think twice. That said, throwing up my kayak sail and cruising at 10 mph was a blast.
Thanks for sharing Kurt.

I really like the first one, very ominous!!! The lighting is pretty incredible... dark clouds, dark water, but amazing light on the cliffs.

Thanks for the comments.
This storm was moving away from the camera and behind me was partly sunny conditions.
I took many shots of the sun lighting various points, this one was the better of the bunch.
