Stupid remarks.
I guess I'll post here next. So I have some exp points built up in climbing "the game" with the added bonus of teaching a little. I like the rope work and did some fun stuff with it. Recently (10 min ago) I was trying to rapel with two 8's on a single line of 10ish mm dynamic. Umm don't try that. I didn't bother to take pics, nothing was successful enough. I fell all the way to the end of the rope and decked in my bedroom. Several times. Actually you have to go through the kitchen to get all the way to the end. I think as a noob here (or there) I'd like to see some discussion or storytelling on history of canyoneering techniques.
I'll also add that, coming from above ground ropes recreation, I'll only trust double line raps. I also don't like making decisions cloaked in the fog of hypothermia. I like the .
Anyway I got new crags to explore so I got time to figure out what changes i need to make to my climbing costume before I get hooked on slots.
Seems like a cool place to hang around.
