Movie Review: Hunger Games
I got 4x tickets tonight (6pm showing) to the Pre-release of Hunger Games. I went with my 13 year old son and 2 of his friends. Not a bad movie with a fairly decent plot.
Despite the fact that all the boys had read the book(s), they all raved afterward.

We had four tickets to the midnight premier, kids went early to secure first place in line. I joined them about 8:30 and waited, and waited, and waited. It is all I have heard about since they announced they would be making a movie. My son has read all the books at least three times and made me read them (hooked after the first page). We all loved the movie! I felt they were true to the book. Spencer was a little disappointed in the wolf creatures. Can't wait to see it again!

A wee bit. Kids were troopers, both went off to school this morning with no fuss but I am sure they will end up falling asleep in a few of their classes.

Going this weekend. Read the books in less than 3 days. I am going to ignore the negative reviews floating around the internet for now.

Sounds like a remake of "Battle Royale" for teenage girls....
They are predicting it will make something like $140 million on its opening weekend, which if true will make it the biggest March opening in movie history.
FWIW: Both my girls went to see it last night... I didn't go because I pee standing up.
