Still any good XC skiing near Ogden?

OK, I'm settled in my new place (in Layton), my promotion test is behind me, and I finally have time to play! However, is there still any decent snow for a XC newbie to ski on? It's sure melting fast on this side of the mountains.

Head up to Park City and hit up white pine touring.. groomed trails and such.. but yeah 70* today says nothing uber close
Tacoma Said - If Scott he asks you to go on a hike, ask careful questions like "Is it going to be on a trail?" "What are the chances it will kill me?" etc. Maybe "Will there be sack-biting ants along the way?"

Thx! Yeah, the weather down here is making me think I'll just give up on the snow and move on to cycling season!
