Would you take a drug to help you forget bad memories?

No, definitely not; the bad shit is part of who I am. But the Veterans Administration estimates that a veteran commits suicide every 80 minutes in this nation. I have to wonder how many of those guys could benefit from something like this...
(Here's the source for that VA estimate: http://www.cnas.org/files/documents/...llBerglass.pdf)

But if I agreed with you, we would both be wrong.

taking the bad with the good is what makes us who we are. I'd rather have that than forget what made me who I am.

I can see it as a plus for some. But just don't shove it down our throats please.
You know if the wiring is bad and all.If you want to ride let's ride and if you want an attitude well we just need to do some more ridding.
Life is good and life is fare.

Probably right after some awful memory type event occurred I would say HELL yes. But the wiser side in me says I learn MORE from the bad experiences than the good. So no. If I took the pill I would end up making the same stupid mistake again and who in their right mind would want to do that!!!

If I were ever raped, beaten or attacked, or otherwise experienced some trauma that did had the potential to cause severe psychological damage, yes. Otherwise, no. The bad memories, as others have said, are part of what makes us who we are.

If I take this drug and forget the bad memories, and it somehow erases the bad memories from the other people involved, then I say it's pure win. otherwise they'd be calling me an ass and I'd have no idea why.
Wait.... have I taken this drug already?
