    el dorado mountains

had a nice spring hike in the el dorado mountains west of the colorado river and south of hoover dam yesterday. other than wind blowing me over when on the windward rim it was a fantastic day due to the ever changing lighting from a front moving thru.

I love the contrast of the dark rocks against the lighter soil, and brush! That is a very striking landscape and great photos I would like to be there right now!

Always wondered what that area was like. Thanks for sharing! Nice shots.
"Powder snow skiing is not fun. It is life, fully lived, life lived in a blaze of reality. What we experience in powder is the original human self, which lies deeply inside each of us, still undamaged in spite of what our present culture tries to do to us. Once experienced, this kind of living is recognized as the only way to live
