Took my redone P17 Enfield out to the range and for a rifle thats almost 100 yrs old
it still shoots a tight pattern. It was made at the Eddystone Arsenal in Pennsylvania
and was a clone of the 30.06 M1917 that our troops carried but the rifles that were
made under contract for the English were given the P17 Enfield moniker for some reason.

The gunsmith I got it from is nearly as old as the gun but does fantastic work. Put
on a new custom walnut stock, new blueing, removed the old iron sights, put on
some optics, recoil pad, and sling. Really a kewl deal and not all that expensive.

That sounds like a Bad A gun I just ordered a hk mp5k can't wait untill it gets here
