A quick day trip to WhiteWash

I left Sunday morning at 6:30, three hours later hit the trailhead! What a great day for a ride, the rocks were awesome. 12 degrees when I arrived and 35 when I left.

I set my bike up with a trials tire and bigger rear sprocket, It worked

I was reading were some guys from Texas went to Colorado to hit a bunch of the 14er passes and they were cutting 4 center luggs and skipped one then cut 4 until they cut all the way around the trials tire.
They called it their secret weapon for the loose rocky hill stuff

I think it was a trip report on ADV Rider.com
At first I thought they had lost their minds but the more I thought about it the more I liked the Idea.

Trials tires rock on the rock.

Looks like a blast if you stay close to the white markers.
Now in about two more months I want to see you up there with your new shiny toy.
