I was there testing out my new dry suit on Saturday. There was some thick ice there for sure,

I can see the ponds from my back porch. They had open water less than 2 weeks ago. Glad to know that the ice is thick enough to stand on. I noticed some people ice fishing on Christmas day and I wondered if anyone fell through.
