Las Vegas 1/2 Marathon 2011

My GF and I ran this last year and really enjoyed it. This year they switched it to a night run. Running the strip at night certainly was fun. There was some organizational problems this year, but RNR has taken the feed back and say it will be corrected for the next one.

did you get sick after?

(KUTV) LAS VEGAS - A lot of Utahns made the trip to the strip for the Las Vegas marathon earlier this year, and many came home sick.
Tonight, the city's health department is still unsure about the cause.
More than half of runners surveyed reported getting ill, and most attributed the outbreak to water served along the route.
But officials say initial tests could not determine what made so many runners sick to their stomachs.

Fortunately I did not. I had heard similar stories. There was a lot of things going on this race that were not up to thr Rock N Roll race standards.
