Thread: Ladder in Zion

    Ladder in Zion

Over the weekend my brothers and I hiked the sand bench trail in Zion. It was a lil boring so we took a spur trail up into a dead end canyon. Along the way, off in the distance, we noticed a random ladder really in the middle of nowhere. We couldnt find a trail up to the ladder, perhaps we could have followed the creek...Anyone know what in the h*ll this ladder is there for, how it got there, etc? It is a large ladder and would have been a pain to get to the spot it is at.

If you keep hiking to the end of the canyon your in, it is the pour off for Birch Cr.

It has one of the most impressive waterfalls when things are right.(flowing water)

Can also get some cool looking ice falls..

I assumed it was near a canyoneer route as the trail we followed had many tracks leading out of the canyon but none in

Here you go. I have a picture for all occasions, and thankfully I *do* have a filing system or I'd go completely crazy!
