    Preseason at Alta - Splitboarding - 11/06/2011

    Had a good first day up at Alta. The only time of the year to snowboard there legally is pre and post season. Very good snow with just enough rocks down low to keep you on your toes.

    I thought that last year Alta allowed snowboarders on the mountain, but they could not use their lifts. I will have to check, but I think that is the case.
