    Wheeler canyon

My son and I went on an overnight "adventure" up wheeler creek canyon a while ago. We went up the trail to Icebox canyon and then up Icebox a bit till we found a good camping spot. It was a good trip with only a few technical difficulties as is to be expected with any trip that I go on.

Not well at all , had to disconnect it from the bike and pull it by hand through most of the single track. But we didn't go far from the bridge to our campsite.

Awesome I haven't noticed any camping spots up there but that would be a great location. I'm assuming your spot was on the opposite side of the trail from the creek?

The spot we camped in was in between the trail and the creek. Less than 1 mile from the bridge. There was a fire ring there and a small flat spot for a tent. It's pretty easy to see from the trail, if you aren't going too fast.
