    Another Picture of Kolob Arch

Had a very nice hike yesterday with Joe and Alan. The views were awesome and the weather was perfect. Anyway I thought I'd share a not so common perspective of Kolob Arch.

The hike up Hop Valley, Langston Canyon and finally topping out Langston Mountain affords some truly incredible beauty! My thanks go out to Joe Braun for the invite and to Courtney for good directions. I've only taken the time to do minimal exploring in the Kolob Terrace area, but so far Red Butte, Tabernacle Dome and now Langston Mountain have shown me that some of the true beauty of Zion NP just waits around each bend.

I don't think there is any section of that park that doesn't offer just astounding & savage beauty. Your shot just stimulates us to start planning our next visit. You mentioned Tabernacle Dome, we climbed that last Saturday and were pleased with both the mellow climb - just enough spice to keep it interesting, and with the views - fantabulous & beautificent!

Thanks for joining me, Bo! I had been wanting to explore Langston for quite some time. Nice meeting Alan too; it's great hiking with great company. I'll post some photos once I sort through them. (I only took 6,000 photos this trip!!!)

Oh and most importantly... THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING ME DRINK MY OWN URINE.

Good one, Joe, although my experience has been that when on an outing with Bo the only voiding you'll likely do is strictly sweat and tears.

My experience hiking/canyoneering/climbing with Bo is that he makes doing the difficult easy. He is my hero!
