Just a little too much snow today; should be clear again soon. Took a short ride east from the top of the pass down the pioneer trail, no snow or mud there but short.

The trail was just damp up to about 7300 feet, then there was a small trickle of water. There is so much rock in this trail that it is never soft. Even the oaks have just barely started to change color.



A little higher in the bushes there was a bit of snow, but the kind motorcycles made a 6 inch path. If I had more balance I could have gone a lot further, just kept wobbling into the snow on the side.
