    Pearson's Canyon

Has anyone here done a top-bottom descent of Pearson's canyon near Willard? It is almost directly west of Willard peak and looks to be quite the 5,000' adventure. I've seen pictures of several series of waterfalls and potholes in the lower section. I'm just wondering what the upper section is like and how late it may be holding water. any info would be helpful. Thanks

Here's a link to an online album I found. http://www.box.net/shared/660yuj1gab...92/281492940/1

I was told long ago (2000?) by a very reliable source that there is some good canyoneering east of Willard Bay. I have no beta other than what I was told and looking into Cook, Holmes and Pearson from the highway. That is pretty much the extent of my knowledge.

I wish I had of followed up more on the possiablitites at the time because I have since lost contact with the friend that orgianally mentioned the slots. FWIW: He called them the Odgen Slots, which may help in your search.

Good luck, and I'll be looking forward to reading a trip report.

Are you hiking up the canyon proper and coming back down the same route?
