Hiking at Snowbird - Baby's first hike

Definitely my most mellow TR but it has some meaning. I have been observing a conversation on the Yahoo Canyoneering feed about infants in carriers so this is poignant. Today, my bro-in-law, neice of 11 weeks, my daughter of 10 weeks and myself took a jaunt up to the top of Baby Thunder at Snowbird. Both were in Baby Bjorns, both were on their first hikes ever and both did great. Looking forward to longer and more remote hikes to come!

Kick butt... I used to do tons of hikes with my girls.. Even did a couple with a girl on my back and one in the front :)... keep on it
Tacoma Said - If Scott he asks you to go on a hike, ask careful questions like "Is it going to be on a trail?" "What are the chances it will kill me?" etc. Maybe "Will there be sack-biting ants along the way?"

Awesome! We bagged a peak with mine at 5 weeks. Start them young!
