    One thing really jumped out at me as I read thru the selections – the vast majority of canyons listed, not including the upper Marble canyons, are rated at least a V or VI in length/time required --- 2 - 4 days is typical. My pack just got a lot heavier.
    very true... expedition canyons. but, the loop options are pretty incredible. you just have to find creative ways to link up multiple canyons on extended trips. usually you can get about a canyon a day if you are a strong hiker.
