Sunglasses found during Subway Hike
I found some sunglasses while hiking The Subway yesterday (Friday the 19th of August). If you lost yours let me know? On tuesday I am back in Zion and will turn them in to the Lost and Found. These glasses are pretty expensive and I'm sure someone would like to get them back.

Hi Tanya! Hows recovery coming? I hope it is going well.
BTW: A fellow was in The Desert Rat 15 minutes ago and I was showing him our website and he saw your picture and he said "I Know Her!". The "Iceman",,, Jerry from Broomfield Colorado who used to do a lot of cross voting on Summitpost with you! He said to tell you hello! He and his son are here to do some hiking.

Awesome! I need to visit Summitpost. I have not done that for a while!
I am healing since the surgery on Monday. Doc said I might have to have more surgery to remove my Gallbladder. Seems it was the wrong color when he was looking down there, but he wants all the reflux pain to subside and see for sure if I need to have it taken out. Summer is having a hard time. (For those that don't know, my 16 year old daughter and I both had surgery for GERD on Monday). The pain pills made her nauseated and she is spending the day dealing with that - hoping to not tear out stiching. I almost took her to the ER today for it, but she did not want to go.
I feel okay, but I am not taking pain meds, they make me sick. I am just tired and there is still acid in my throat but the Doc won't give me my 80 mg of nexium a day for some reason - not that I can swallow a pill. It's hard to get water down still. I can take malox and anything else I can get down, but they are not working and I really gag on the malox. I will find out about that when we see him soon. Finally the headache from the anesthesia is gone! That was the worst part for me. Summer never had a headache. That is the good part!

Hey! We had a blast....thank you for a fun day. Hope you made it back without any events? Jeremy came in today to return my wetsuit and helmet and asked if I knew your last name? I think he wants to e-mail you pictures or something? If you can e-mail me your last name I'll be sure to get it to him! bobeck@thedesertrat.net ... Thanks again Kristi and Adam!

The drive to Vegas was pretty uneventful and we made it back with time to spare before my flight back to AZ. We tried to stop by The Desert Rat on the way out of town, but then remembered it was Sunday in Utah! Thanks again for a great day Bo, I have a couple good pics of the owls and of you doing your Tarzan impression on that last rappel that I will post later tonight.
