Interesting Cedar Mesa area
Does anyone know what this area is? It looks like it's been cleared of all the cedar trees. There is also another interesting area just to the Northwest of this area. Just noticed these wile looking at Google maps.

I believe that section of land is private.....I see the 'For Sale' sign every time I drive by it

it is private and it's been for sale for years. i think someone was trying to promote it as a location for a lodge.
But if I agreed with you, we would both be wrong.

took me a bit to find it. its called brushy flat on the topo's. http://www.landwatch.com/San-Juan-Co.../pid/148706296 nearly 2.5 million for 640 acres.
But if I agreed with you, we would both be wrong.

Zoom out on that google image and you will see the same thing repeated several places nearby.
