    New guy! From Southern CA.

First off, THANKS!!! to all the information that is on this forum. I have been lurking (and learning) for about 6 months and finally organized trip down one of our little canyons (LSA) with a couple climbing friends. I have been a climber for about 4 years now and always wanted to do some technical canyoneering and loved it... I have the bug! Can't wait to get out and go again.

Being a large man, 300lbs, I always get the "You do what?!?!" when I mention climbing ect... I guess its just because I love to make and drink beer mmmmm.

Thanks for the great forums full of information and can't wait to be able to take a trip out to Zion and other places with some real canyons.

    Thanks!
    Eric

Or both! We go fill the growlers in Redlands and then take the back way to wine country. 8-)

I have been to SCA meetings, swung a sword or two , but never been a member.

Ahahaaa! I knew we were kindred spirits. I used to live in El Cajon Back in the day. Got into caving/canyoneering and left San Diego. I'm sure pretty soon you and your buddy Spacecamel will be checking out housing prices out here :P.

    Anyways, welcome!
