What's the smallest size I can save jpgs to get decent prints?
I usually take the pics on my camera at a high resolution, so when I bring them up on the computer, they're huge, and I have to scroll down. I want to print some of these off as 4x6 photos. I'm using a free editing program called Irfanview, and I need to know how small I can save these photos and still get a great picture when I print them off.

no. 8x10 at 300dpi is 2400x3000 pixels. take your print size, and multiply it by 300 on each dimension, and that is the resolution you need for that print size.
