Desert Waterfalls
Recently we stayed for a month in Moab. July is well known for the Monsoon Season and its thunderstorms.
On July 11th, we made a trip into the San Rafael Swell. North Temple Wash and the old Mining Building at North Temple Mountain - is it a Ghost Town or not? - were on the route.
As we arrived at North Temple Mountain a thunderstorm developed within minutes. Heavy rain poured down for estimated 15 minutes. And then we saw it - waterfalls over the cliffs above North Temple Wash:
Sadly the same thunderstorm took a life at the Wedge Overlook, killing a man struck by lightning.
