Can I share some pictures from a recent Arizona trip?

Hi, new here and posting my 1st thread. Just got back from a road trip to The Wave, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend.

The Wave...I wish I had stopped down here. I'm use to shooting portraits of my son, so stopping down the aperture is new to me.





Hiking at The Wave took much longer than we had anticipated. We barely made it to Upper Antelope Canyon for the last 4:00pm tour. I wanted to shoot the sunbeams. But I guess the dark shadows were pretty fun to shoot too. Hopefully I'll be able to go there back soon.





Finally made our way to Horseshoe Bend at 6ish with the sun straight in my lens. I used the lens hood but the haze was pretty strong. I did a subtle HDR with this (and the Wave photos above.)

I like the dark shadows. Sunbeams get old.

I actually really like the Horseshoe bend photo. I think the slight washout actually adds to the brightness of the photo. Just me and I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I quite like that photo.
