    Moab Canyoneering Video's

Here are a couple video's of canyoneering with the family last week in Moab.

My daughters did all the filming as they were having fun playing with the new GoPro, I though they did a good job.

Nice, looks like fun. Did you start early in the morning? Or would the afternoon be better?

Entrajo we did in the evening with about a 5 pm start.

Dragonfly we did with a 9 am at the trailhead start.

I told my kids the hike out of Dragonfly would be really hot (100 degrees) but it was only 30 minutes of hot so just suck it up.... and they did with no whining, but my kids are pretty tough after years of this type of stuff..... I have tought them how to suffer well.

Kids are awesome, they can learn so well. Especially if you prep them into proper safety procedures that might save their life and others from having to do lifesaving rescues. Like wearing a helmet. Pretty simple. Harness check? Yep. Knot/belay check? Yep. Helmet on? Yep.
I don't climb or canyon with folks who don't do simple safety. If they crack their head open it puts me in a horrible position, AND may endanger me and others in group.

    KISS!!
