    Rocky Mouth Falls

Cliff and I were bored so we went and rappelled down rocky mouth falls today. It was pretty fun. Lots of water coming down right now. It'll knock you around a bit and can be a little disorienting but it's a good time. We put in a sling at the top on the tree because it was gone, didn't feel like messing with retrievable stuff. the sling around the big rock before the longer drop is doing okay and should be good for awhile. It would have been a pain to replace that with all that water coming down on our heads. here's some picks.

    Thanks for posting.

I've been thinking about hitting Rocky Mouth to get some fun pictures and video while the water is still high.... guess I need to get my butt up there this week.

A retrievable anchor at Rocky Mouth means you tie your rope to the tree and run back to the top and pick it up when you are finished doing laps.

It's a bit lower, but it's one of the wettest years we've had in a while for the waterfalls to still be flowing that much. Sweet picture!

Me and my friend Ian did it on the 23rd (sat), and it was a lot lower from when you guys did it. But it was still a blast. There were about 15 spectators when we did it about 6pm. Good waterfall.

However, there was a bunch of shredded, destroyed red webbing that was laying around that we removed.

    Here's a few pics:
Ian my partner/friend is in the black helmet, and I'm in the white helmet.

    Good times!
