This summer I am working on a project that studies the Southwestern Willow Flycatcher, a federally listed endangered riparian bird. Most of our study sites are accessible by foot, but the site in the video is most easily accessed by boat. On this day I chose to use the kayak provided by the project to access the survey site. While not my personal sleek kevlar sea kayak or canoe, it was still a paddle!
