What is your favorite game to play on a trip?

From card games to travel size (or regular) board games or maybe even hiking games or car counting games, shooting games, fishing games.

I am asking for two reasons:
1: On my packing list for my next hike, my wife added "cards" to the list. Which made me curious.
2: My older brother is making a board game that he is trying to get funded. I asked him if his game was going to ever be made into a "travel" size game and he told me No. But, oh well, His game is still cool. The game can be found here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...phecy?ref=live

My favorite game as father and family driver is "How far can I drive before we HAVE to stop for a bathroom." It is highly entertaining.

Who-can-not-talk-the-longest is a pretty fun game as a parent/driver too!

My son's MTB coach liked to play Slug Bug with the kids in his van. I think he just wanted an excuse to slug some of the smart-ass kids

VC is a fun card game, but you need 4 people to play so that limits playing ability sometimes

I had forgotten all about speed. Perfect game for my wife and I. We have gotten pretty sick of Rummy (and the like) so we will have to wear this one out.

You soon learn where the tolorable restrooms are. If I am traveling during business hours, I hit up the court houses. They are always clean. Sundays I hit the churches. I try to avoid the gas stations and rest stops if possible. (Three daughters and a wife....my son and I, well we aren't so picky.) I have taught my son the art of the no-touch technique where you don't touch anything in the bathroom particularly after you wash. That is a game too.

Ha Ha I can't wait until I get to test the waters in that game. For now my boy doesn't even understand that black ants on the candy you dropped in the dirt is not candy that goes in your mouth ha ha. But, That is good advice on the restrooms.... Although, my wife doesn't mind squatting next to the truck I guess that makes me lucky.
