Cassidy Arch Beta
I am looking for beta on the Cassidy Arch Canyon. We will be down in the area this weekend and will be doing this canyon. I have found a few write ups on the route, however there seem to be variations in rappel lengths and such. Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated...

Some beta here: http://www.canyoneeringusa.com/rave/...eze/index3.htm
and here: http://www.ajroadtrips.com/go/trips/capitol-reef/
I would call the first rap "about 150 feet", have always had 200' capability; but Ryan calls it 40 meters (132'), and he is good at this kind of thing.
Tom

Thank you both for the info. I have a 100m rope and a 60m pull cord. I am hoping to double rap on the 100m and pull the anchor with the 60m. If this is not an option, we will just hike back up to retrieve the anchor.

That canyon will be a cooker in this summer heat.

I am with Tom. We will be on the trail early and since it is only 1.5 miles, we should be just fine.
