You'll have to get the youtube.com links rather than the youtu.be "short" links. Just copy the url from the top address bar.

Here are your two links, quote my post to see how the youtube.com link was used rather than youtu.be. Hope that helps

Try mounting the camera for an "over the shoulder" view, that should be pretty cool.

Also... your video's are not HD. Which camera are you using?

I have the HD camera but its too big to post or I dont know how (most likely). I only use it during time trials. I dont mess with it while racing.
I will work on some differant angles. I have on thats looking back that kind of cool. What your seeing is a High 8 second run at about 150.

Youtube can accept large HD files, you just have to click the advanced button and than upload the same as you have been doing.

A fully charged GoPro and a 8mb card will record for about 3 hours. I would just turn the camera on when I headed for the staging lanes and turn it off when I got back to the pits. And then edit out all the crap you don't want. The best thing is by filming that much you pick up a bunch of great items that can be spliced into a fun short clip. Anyhoo.... That's what I do with canyoneering. I turn on the camera when I drop into a slot and click it off when I exit. Most times the actual slot is 30 minutes to a couple hours long.... so I end up with a couple hours of video that I edit down to about 5 entertaining minutes.

I'm planning on mounting a GoPro on a Sprint car some time this summer. When I do I'll just turn it on whenever the car is about to leave the pits and turn if off when it pulls back in. One battery charge should last the entire evening.

Even better, invite a friend and put him in charge of the GoPro. Heck, invite me and I'll bring my GoPro with me and we can record everything with two cameras. I'll run the cameras, stay out of the way, and you can worry about the racing. We could get some awesome footage.
