Quandary Direct 4 June 2011

Took the group down Quandary and did the direct route on June 4th. The pictures just recently got developed or we would have had this up sooner. It was kind of a busy day. We let a group pass us right before the keeper section and there was a group coming through after us, too, though we never saw them in the canyon. There were a couple swims before the keeper section, but the keepers themselves were all pretty dry. We saw a few bolts in there, but we did the canyon completely natural, using meat anchors, assisted downclimbs, a couple natural anchors with webbing, and two pot shots (which, it turns out, I am too heavy to rappel off of by themselves). Awesome canyon and a lot of fun! We did have a few problems with our cameras later on, so we didn't get a lot of pictures in the keeper section.

We decided to downclimb both of the first drops.
