Photography+ Canyoneering = Best time to take pictures in slots

I was wondering if anybody had a list of the best time to take pictures in different slot canyons. Lighting is tricky in the slots to begin with, but the time of day can make it either easier to work with or nearly impossible to take a good shot. Just wondering the slots & times that you've been pleased with the results.

I think it mostly depends on what you want. If you want the light beams coming down, high noon is best. If you just want nice even lighting... Just before/after noon is best. Haha

A suggestion to try it the old fashioned way: Take your camera, put it on a tripod, and figure it out for yourself. Trial and error. And a healthy amount of patience.
Edit: Didn't mean to be an asshole. I just can't help it sometimes.
