Sherwood Hills
Intermountain Cup #8 at Sherwood Hills 6/17/11. Lots of tight singletrack without much room to pass (or get passed). The racers were separated into three flights to spread things out a bit. Lots of fun.

Wow, so this is right at the Golf Course, huh? I had no idea there was a trail right there, I'd love to give it a go. Thanks for the video

Last year they made us pay to park. Is it still the same this year?

This is a great ride that is sort of a hidden gem! There is no real sustained climbing or descending when compared to some of the other classic Utah rides. Lots of tight turns and constant ups and downs. Northern Utah Bogley group ride??

I am game to ride it if we are free too, how many miles is the loop? looks like a sweet fast tight singletrack course that would be very fun to ride.

map
I haven't paid in the past, but I've heard that people have been asked to pay recently
5.5 miles, 770 feet of climbing once around the figure 8 loop.
The race was once around the small loop on the south, then 2 to 5 big loops depending on being pro or less than pro.

Thanks for the map. Looked like a very well established trail in the video. Easy to follow all the way around?

We will probably be at the trailhead at 7:15. Ogden-ish right? 35 minutes. Boom. You're there.

No worries. We rode two loops, one clockwise, and then one counterclockwise. The trail is in great shape, but there are quite a few areas of really bad overgrowth. Even one section of chest high grass that makes trail navigation a bit of an adventure. Next time I would wear ski socks so my shins don't get so itchy. Good times though. Bunchgrass shuttle next week.......
