Open water swim

Anyone doing a triathlon? I'm interested in doing some open water swim training and am looking for some company. My race is at Echo Res so we could do it there or anywhere. If your interested respond to this.

I am too far away to join you. But if your ever down here in St. George let me know. I swim with the local triclub. You should see if there is one up there. We have about 10+ people every Wed out at Sandhollow. Sadly I am the slowest.

In years past there was a group of SLC triathletes who would go for an open water swim once a week at 0'dark thirty during the summer months. It wasn't an official group but they were dedicated about getting their swim time in. I'm thinking of going to Utah lake on saturday to do an open water swim. I will probably go to the Saratoga Springs Marina. If anyone is interested let me know.

Thanks for the input. I did the tri on saturday. The swim was brutal but I did it and did better then I thought. The bike ride I flatted so that sucked but overall it was a good race.
