His First Mountain Bike Ride
After picking up one of these last week,

I was able to take my boy for his first official mountain bike ride. He thoroughly enjoyed our 5-1/2 mile ride. It was a little more work to get him up the trail than I thought it would be
On the way back, I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have and I allowed his finger to get pinched between the handlebar and a rock. But he was still glad to ride, and hopefully it's his only mountain biking injury for a long time.

I have been thinking about picking one of those up to drag my little girl around town with... you should do a review of it ;)
very cool ride thoughTacoma Said - If Scott he asks you to go on a hike, ask careful questions like "Is it going to be on a trail?" "What are the chances it will kill me?" etc. Maybe "Will there be sack-biting ants along the way?"

That is cool, before you know it that little guy is going to be kicking your butt up the mountian!
Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

That is a pretty cool setup. Didn't you have one of those tag along bikes already ? No need to worry about weight and pedaling efficiency when you are having that much fun.

I was borrowing one when we went to St George a little while ago, shown in these two videos. After that, I just had to get one for my boy.
And yes, the trail was MUCH harder than the pavement with this thing. It wasn't just the weight, but the balance really threw me as I'm creeping up some steep rocky sections.
