Just out of curiosity, after seeing the high water lines in your pics (nice ones by the way) are they hoping to fill back up a ways, or is most of the water already spoken for downstream? With Colo, Wyo and Utah all well above avg for snowpack and water content, you'd think they might gain a few feet in water depth. Time to refill Lake Powell.http://www.bogley.com/forum/attachme...1&d=1307016701
This was early 80's. A little bit more water in there.

The talk I have heard, puts the high water mark this Summer between 3655-3670.
The water was rising 6-7" per day while we were there, this should go to 1' per day as soon as the weather warms.
Full pool being 3700'

Thanks for that info oldno7. I guess it's going to take a few years of big snowfalls to get er filled up again. Watching the Yampa flooding here in Steamboat.

Heres a great link to not only Lake Powell, but all other major Lakes and rivers in the system.
Check out the graphs section too.

Nice pics.
May the "lake" continue it's downward spiral. Leaking and evaporating, filling up with sand, dead cows, cars, refrigerators, human waste, boats, water skiers, fishing line.................................
