I could see the use in selling unused federal buildings. But land! I'm not sold on that idea at all. A better idea would be to cut health and retirement plans for politicians and make them do what every other American does. Get off the gravy train. I think we also need to cut the military spending. That would be a bigger "dent" in the trillions of debt than a few acres of land.

This is not new.
It was proposed by the Bush administration back in February 2006. One of the areas proposed for the sale was Labyrinth Canyon.Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.
