Yo... we'll be at RMR Monday night, as always. Monday night on Memorial weekend is always a big night with a lot of out of town talent in Utah to go up against our local hotshoes.

Hopefully some river running. It should be a good year to do it.
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

Ventana Wilderness (south of Big Sur) backpacking with Aaron and his Boy Scout troop. There is some peak there they know a route up that they call "the windows" and supposedly was the peak that once had a hole/arch which inspired the early Spanish to name the range Ventana.

Check out Colorado Canyon, just north of the town of Big Sur, If you get a chance. A magical place. We spent quite a bit of time there in our youth.......sigh
