    5 Mile, Eureka, Cherry Creek

I turned 130 miles on Saturday and had a blast. We parked at 5 mile and rode over the top on some smaller double track and single track trails. Then we fueled up in Eureka and headed over to Cherry Creek. Once we got there we rode a whole series of tight single track, rocky ledges, tight double track in the trees and whoops for miles.

This was my second ride after an MCL tear and 6 week hiatus with therapy mixed in. I was feeling it yesterday morning and I am still sore today. I only took a few photos on one overlook. We were riding very fast and only stopped to go through gates. One of the guys with us was taking video and I'll see if he posts it in a few days.

Unfortunately the guy with the 513 plate had a bad get off right outside Eureka. We got him a ride in a car over to the gas station and then stayed with him while his Dad got his truck from 5 mile. I don't have a report on him yet, but he'll be laid up for quite some time. Be safe out there!

We need to ride out there. You would love the single track trails.

I spent a few hours playing with my suspension out around 5 mile on Friday night. I got lucky and escaped a few clouds.
