Leprechaun East/Right Fork
I searched the forum, with no luck, so please excuse if this is double-posted.
We're planning for a trip down Leprechaun East Fork early next week (05/17 or 18), so I was wondering if anybody had visited this canyon recently, and could give a short update on conditions, i.e. pools and water levels.

From Wyoming Dave over at the Canyons Group:

I was in North Wash over the past weekend (May 7-8, 2011).
The reports from various people is that there is still a short swim in the lower section of the Leps, Morocco has a waist deep pool near the end, and South Maidenwater is dry but North has a few pools.
The usual disclaimer: It was raining in Western Colorado when I left this morning, so everything could change.
North Wash is very spring-like at this time. All the flowers are coming out and most of the trees have leaves, with a few cottonwoods already putting off cotton clouds. The temps over the weekend were delightful and the gnats were very tolerable because of a fairly persistent breeze. There were many (nice) people out over the weekend. Most of the popular campsites were occupied.
