Scouts on the Shoreline trail
My first official ride up north this year, the Ogden Bonneville Shoreline Trail is clear and dry.
We were introducing some scouts to mountain biking. We had a pretty late start, hitting the trail at @ 7:20, climbing as far as we could go before the sun set and headed back down. We still managed to go 4.7 miles which was more than I expected at that time of night with @ 11 beginners.
Here's the map for their reference, some pics, and of course a quick video

Next week we'll hope to start at Rainbow Gardens and go as far south as we can, hoping to pass Strong Canyon at least

Nice video. It's good to see Mark riding again. Some how I missed him and the others while riding in St. George earlier this year.

You should show the scouts the 'carnage' videos. They like a good wreck!

We'll probably be hitting it again this next Tuesday, maybe around 5:30ish.
Here's the "tuesday rides" thread, hopefully we can get some rolling.

Round 2
Started at 5:30 this time, plenty of time to go from Rainbow Gardens to Strong Canyon.
Oh, and it was VERY muddy at the bottom. Don't worry, this trail recovers pretty quick. The most damage that was done happened to the rim of a Next bike.
