relocated to St George time for new hobby

Just moved to Washington, UT from Sanpete county. Spent my life on Mtn Bikes, ATVs and motorcycles...but I am hooked on Zion Canyon and Canyoneering. Can't wait to start meeting fellow outdoor enthusiasts and learn more about the sport of canyoneering and other southern Utah sports. Any recommendations on where to increase my knowledge of canyoneering would be great.

couple ways to learn more about canyoneering. take some classes from competent/certified instructors, there are a few that are regular posters here on this forum. and/or offer to carry rope & group gear, buy their favorite beverage after a canyon, etc, is a great way to be invited along with competent canyoneers.

    welcome & have fun.

I've been to the Desert Rat a few times. Would Bo be the guy I talked to that did Angel Falls last year?? Older guy?
